Thoughts on black wheels? Now gun metal in the comments.
Just done a quick photoshop of my car with black wheels. Just wondered what you guys thought of it. Also does anyone know any decent places in the manchester/oldham area to get them done?
Ill also be getting black grills etc to match. Last edited by Dizzilad; 05-22-2017 at 03:33 PM.. |

I think they look great on some cars but I'm not too fond of these.

I think as part of an overall look, or accent/contrast to a white car, they can look very good, but it depends on the wheels and also the finish.
I must admit, I'm not a fan of just sticking black wheels on like in your example, it looks like you've put on steelies. |

For me it works on some cars but unfortunately I think in the pics you've made it look like you've had the wheel trims nicked : sorry.
(I know they're alloys) |

Black wheels with white, silver or even red cars, yes please. On blue, dark grey or black, hideous.

had black wheels on my EBII car and now dark grey one so I'm in the yes camp.
Do what you like ! I think with a black car it will probably look very stealth but you'll need a to keep it high gloss ?

Not my words but I feel the same,
Black is what you wash off a car, not add to it. Cars need contrast
