Fitting ACS springs to adaptive suspension?

Received my ACS springs yesterday and am hoping to get my mate to fit them next week. I have adaptive suspension and was wondering if there was anything that he should be particularly looking out for compared to normal passive setup?

It's exactly the same, except he needs to unplug the adaptive plug from the feont struts. I've done it myself on both adaptive and non adaptive.

No problem. Does your mate know what he's doing?

So you don't lose the adaptive? Want to get this done in August-ish - will go to an approved ACS place, but want to keep adaptive working.

Guess this is just to fit the springs (remove the plug)?

Yes, just remove the plug so the dampers can be removed from the car to fit the springs, then of course put the plug back in on refitting.

ACS springs with Adaptive is a good combination, in Sport the damping is a good match for the spring

It really is firm in sport, no need for any firmer suspension on the road imo.

He does, he used to work for BMW! It was more to satisfy my curiosity than anything else!
