x40i economy
Just been on lovely jaunt round Scotland for the last week. Gave the motor a good run out on some rather nice roads.
On the way back for a bit of 'fun' I thought I would see what sort of mpg I could get in ecopro mode on a long run. Got 51 mpg. On a 196 mile m6 run. I reckon it is possible to get a bit more but I got bored and stuck it back into sport and hoofed it home. Yes, a rather pointless exercise I know but hey ho! |

That's just cruel...
Great run Riffs , I did suspect 50+ was possible in the right/boring enough/long enough circumstances, having seen mid-40s several times in comfort mode over shorter runs.

Not bad OP Best I saw was 46 on a test run; deliberately driving gently in flowing motorway traffic....yawn!
Nowadays I'm settled on 28 over the last 9000 miles. some weeks it will do 30 - others 25 and 20 if I nail it... but to be fair, I really couldn't give a toss as I didn't buy it for it's economy
