blackening material for Rear Diffuser

Hi All,

What material have people used when installing the M Performance Rear Diffuser?

From the manual:

Only for cars of a light colour
Blacken the area (4) of the car at the rear right using
suitable means.

Thanks

I haven't actually done so on mine yet, but I'll probably just clean the area and use some black tape when I get round to it. That or some plastidip/something else non-permanent

Does it mean behind the little grilles on either side of the 4 series diffuser?

I just left it. You don't notice anything with the black grill in place.

On a light coloured car you do as you see the battery compartment on the drivers side. I applied a piece of matt black sticky backed plastic.
