Loud metal on metal noise when turning left

I'll try to make this short. When turning fairly hard to the left the right rear is making a loud noise that sounds like the dust shield hitting the rotor. I had the wheels rebalanced after a track day and did a through inspection while the wheel was off and found nothing. It sounds like a rock is stuck and it is rubbing under lateral load. It started during a track day and it's now driving me crazy. I'm running Pagid pads and now I'm wondering if they are shuddering.
I bent the shield back away from the rotor but no luck.
I'm thinking I'll change out the pads and retest since I'm running out of ideas.
Feedback? Help?
Also, I only hear it if I'm cornering fairly hard. For example, going 35 or 40 mph on a 20 mph corner.

No. It's a different noise. I've had that too!

The diff can make some sounds when the clutch engages back there so its possible that is the issue but I would have the dealership take a look at it to be on the safe side.

It definitely not the diff. I'm going to swap the stock pads back in and see what happens. If it's still there I'll be visiting the dealership.
I can't figure out why it only happens when the right side is hard loaded?!
It's a clack clack clack not a solid screech.
Its loud though. Was out for a drive with my wife last night on a curvy country road and she said "what the hell is that?"

Big rock was jammed behind brake shield. I couldn't get it out - took it in and I got the new shields too.
