19 Fault codes

Hello new family. I am a first time owner of a BMW and I went with one of the best cars that I can think of...M5 comp and exe package. Not only that but I got it for a great deal. It currently has 46,000+ miles and I also have until December before the Manufacturing warranty goes out on it. So I'm assuming that I'm doing what any smart person would do and that's to have a good look over of the vehicle and get everything fixed before the manufacturer warranty goes out. So I ran an OBDII scan on it and it came up with 19 codes! Wasn't happy about that so I took it to the dealership and gave them a printed copy of the codes. they suggested that I changed the battery which is still under warranty and the codes will go away. well, drove the car home and basically the same codes are still there. My question for you guys is how does a BMW store codes? In other words... are these codes real faults or just messages? The scan tool that I used is the Snapon Ethos Pro. Is it because I'm using a non-BMW scanner? (I wouldn't think so...) and lastly, from you guys experiences, what other known problems should I get looked at before the warranty runs out?

The codes I have:

Could just be stored and some of these codes can be triggered when coding. Have you tried clearing all codes and history and seeing if they come back?

So today, I used my scanner to clear out all fault codes and drove the car to run errands and I'm just making it back home. Now that I have a better understanding of how the scanner software work with the car, I noticed that I actually don't have 19 codes, I actually had way more. Anyhow... I believe you are right. these are codes that have been with the car since and they were never cleared. Now that I rescanned the car, it's only pulling up 2 codes of which I can live with.
