YAFAT!!
Yet another f****** Alloy Thread!!
Because of the likes of Piggin and Smee (to name a couple...b*******) I feel the need to change my 19" 2Forge ZF2 wheels for a set of 20s. I love my current wheels but after seeing Piggin and Smees corners, it's made me lust after some wheels that finish the look off. Options I have; Keep the same wheels and stick a set of MPS4S tyres (from current standard Pirelli RFT 225/40 fronts, 255/35 rears to 235/40 fronts, 265/35 rears). Going this option with a set of subtle spacers (<10mm) may help to satisfy my need as the current standard tyres are slightly stretched giving a bulbous appearance on the rims (8.5 front ET35, 9.5 rear ET45) Get a new set of 20" wheels and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. So, poll at the top. Give me some guidance please! 1. Current wheels 19" 2Forge ZF2 2. Zito 20" ZS05 Satin Black 3. Zito 20" ZS15 Satin Black 4. Zito 20" ZS15 Gunmetal 5. 20" 2Forge ZF2 (same as current but bigger) |

Personally I prefer the Zito ZS15 style wheel- they remind me a bit of the Forgestar CF10s that I love, and I'm not really a fan of what you've got. But if you like them I'd get the right size tyre and a set of spacers first, so that's what I voted for.
This is my favourite thread for wheel porn: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=861958 Forgestar CF10 (I know it's not on your list, but forum's are made for messing with people's decisions... ) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7433/...bb2feef8_b.jpg

Me too hence them in my short list. Before I took delivery of the car, I spent a good few weeks trying to choose a suitable set of wheels. Umming and Arring on whether to go straight to 20s or stick with 19s. I elected to stick to 19s because even before I'd picked the car up, I'd already chucked about £1500 on OEM carbon bits. My tight arse side kicked in and stuck with a custom set of 19s Gunmetal powder coated Veeman VC7 (actually one of the licensed versions of that style), 15 spoke. When I took the car to the tuning shop I'd ordered the wheels from, it turned out the wheels I'd had powder coated didnt fit over the M Sport calipers. There was an inner strengthening rim on the inner face of the wheel. So I made the decision to go for the ZF2s. Still hanker after the 15 spoke style as I like the look of that design on Alpinas (only in dark colours though). 19's look a little small but in the 20 inch size, they look good.

Trouble is in Somerset most of the women are bigger than the men and that's a whole different lifestyle choice. On the bright side they can milk cows, deliver lambs and chuck a bale Gives the term small holding a totally different meaning |

*Basically, I ditched the girlfriend cos she was as mad as a box of wasps, divorced the wife after 20 years because she was a malingering half-witted sponging dullard and am quite happy just shagging anything that shows a passing interest. My car is the only thing that gives pleasure when throwing money at it |

I did consider it as I am actually a massive dog lover and have had dogs pretty much most of my life. And with that comes responsibility alas. I would have to go for a puppy and it would be tricky to firstly give it all the initial attention it would require early on due to work regime and commitments and secondly, I actually enjoy the freedom I currently have with no ties or responsibilities. Nice for the first time in 25 odd years |

Lol very true.
I think my car is my 'dog'. When I put my coat on and walk outside, it wags its mirrors when I walk up to it (unfold) and its eyes light up. I take it out for a good run and it just wants me to throw the stick faster and further I reward it with a satisfying wash and give it some treats (a fuck load of money on mods and extras!). It becomes a bit of a burden when it wants to curl up on my lap in front of the TV though as it sort of takes over the living room...... |

At least with the car you don't have to pick up the dog eggs behind it
PS is waging mirrors a coding option (changed mine to close on short press of the button but not seen this) |

hmm tricky
The vs05 look the best out of them options but I'm not a lover of black on black as I think black wheels lose detail to me. of the vs05 had gunmetal version it would be my choice. The multi spoke look smart but must be a night mare to clean lol more eye candy

On the subject of dog eggs. My neighbour (local big farmer) has an ancient Jack Russell called 'Scooby'. Cantankerous little old man who refuses to move an inch from the drive way when driving out but is a likeable little old dog deposited white poo the other day. Not seen that since the feckin 80s! I even took a photo of it |
