Hi guys,

Recently purchased a 2013 328i xdrive with 93,000 miles from a BMW dealership. My last BMW was a 2002 530i. The difference between the inline 6 in that car and the inline 4 in this car is quite jarring and I am still getting used to it. The good news is that the 3er was regularly maintained and appears to be in pretty good shape engine and electronics wise.

That said, have a couple of questions that I have not been able to get answers to and am hoping you knowledgeable members will be able to help me out:

1. What should be the idle rpm on the engine when car is fully warmed up. Mine is in the 750ish range.

2. Does the N20 engine need walnut blasting. I have heard that the six cylinder DFI engines need it but not the 4 cylinder version (aka N20)

3. The halogen headlights suck on this car. How do I adjust them upwards? A member had posted the steps and pictures but the post appears to have expired.

4. In the same light, has any member changed their halogen bulbs to LED bulbs? If yes, any guidance on the brand and process?

5. My car has tan interior and I want to get either seat covers or vests to protect the seating surface. Any suggestions on which ones to use. Believe BMW used to make seat vests but appear to have stopped.
