Aftermarket rims!? - Any suggestions?

I am looking in to some aftermarket rims, after seeing people on this forum going down this route their cars stand out so much more from the ones that have stock/rep OEM wheels.

Symbol-formerly Mr Helmut Piggin and a few others.

Kinda wanting to stick to 19" rims as I have new tyres in this size and also 8.5J front and 9.5J rear?

Anything you guys like the look of? Thanks in advance guys for any feedback/suggestions!

p.s. I am currently looking here: https://www.lkperformance.co.uk/allo...o-2015-f30-f31

I do still love them, but then I see aftermarket ones and I really really like them!

I would stick with 405M if taking aftermarket route with I have too , reason being they don't really look aftermarket because OEM wheel look similar

Last thing you want fitting aftermarket alloys and ruin your car coz it is said Alloys do make and brake look of the car .

I will be getting my diamond cut in summer (now) but will Grey to give OEM look even though none of my alloys are scratched .

My alloys are butchered from a lorry squeezing me. Half the reason I want to buy some more/others.

I am sure refurb will sort that out unless you want totally different alloys .

If I ever change I would go 666M in Black

Wheel choice is such a subjective, personal thing. Making the choice can be harder than Vinny Jones.

I guess a starting point is seeing a car in the same colour, similar spec with a style you like. I spent a good few weeks before I picked my car up deciding. Tons of google searches and fiddled around with photoshop a fair bit too. Ironically, the wheels I decided on and ordered from Project X; Stance SC7s (got them powder coated dark gunmetal) didnt actually fit when I went down to get them fitted on the day I picked the car up from the dealer! The rims had an inner strengthening ridge that wouldnt fit over the M Sport calipers. As it happened, I saw a just-released set of 2Forges and plumped for them. Totally different style from what I'd set my heart on (but glad I got them). Really difficult to get a sense of what they will look like in the real world on your car.

Stance SC7

2Forge ZF2

Heres a really good site to visualise various mods. Top tip, set the background text to grey (square icon below the left hand menu next to the steering wheel icon) so you can see the menu selections.

All night?!? Pah, let me know when you've ripped all your hair out after addictively searching for a couple of weeks!....and then change your mind on the style and start all over again.

Personally, I like the Borbet XRTs (hence having a pair as winters). If I was going to change my summers for anything, it'd be these in 19": http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1218866

They're well made German wheels by a manufacturer that is OEM to the likes of Porsche and VW.

They are proper cow boys I had bad experience with them

Go on website and select Make , Maserat Ghibli (white saloon with black alloys)i and that's what I took to get new alloys and he charged us £2500 with budget tyres the fuckin prick

I know I should have known better but It was too late when I got there and they had already fitted these and my boss just leave them get back, they are in Bristol and I am in North east.

Do not buy any alloys from these scum bags , dodgy bastards

I know Symbol-formerly Mr Helmut you only put link to see alloys mate .

Eek, thats not good mate

I got my wheels and had my ASC springs from them and to be honest, didn't have any issues (apart from the original wheels I'd ordered and had powder coated by them not fitting). Dealt with James the whole way through and found him to be helpful. Not good that you came all the way from up North to find they'd stuck shit tyres on.

See you got me point mate

what's point of changing alloys if you still got loads of rubber .

Symbol-formerly Mr Helmut alloys will be best option but don't know how will they look on F30 but looks mint on F32 .
