Throttle peddle

Hi all,

So yesterday i noticed when i floor the peddle i thought i was hitting the floor, but its almost like it stops, then i pushed more and it carried on if that makes sense, so its like it sticks or hits a point, then you push it more and it carries on, so its not continuous, i dont really know how to describle it, but is that normal is it is sticking?

It forces the box to kick-down. The box will drop a gear or two under increased throttle, but kick-down forces the use if a lower gear again.

As above, with additional comments. You still get full throttle, (WOT) without going through the kick-down point.

A fast kick-down, (fast throttle application), can instigate a 'brutal' block change, even 8th - 2nd gear, in the most aggressive application.
