Very nice....in the meantime, you should be ordering (unless you already have) all the kit to maintain it, wash mitts, two buckets etc etc....

Have done. Kyle from Altus Car Care has sorted me out with a great range of products and detailing advise.

The Ceramic coating is amazing! I've got some better pics, but can't edit the pics from my iPad for some reason....

Very nice. MG responds so well to being properly treated and really does look like a different colour in the sun compared to non treated cars.

Black grille?...

Looks great! Which ceramic coating did you have applied and roughly how much did it cost?

So I paid Refined-details 」500 for wash, clay bar, stage 1 polish and ceramic coating on car, wheels, callipers and tail pipes. Considering the dealer chargers 400 for a 'valet' which makes the paint worse, then I'd say its worth it!

Agreed, for the work done 」500 doesn't sound unreasonable to me; been on the website for a GTechniq accredited detailer local to me and I can get the figure to 」700 without even trying!

Adam of Refined Details told me he has been using Gtech for years, until he said he found out that all there products come out of the same chemical vats and are then diluted according to which application they are marketing..... I don't know if that's 100% fact but he's been doing cars for a while now.
He's using Kenolon, which is relatively new to the market, but he now swears by it....
