Hey guys just curious if anyone with an MPPSK b58 has a bms intake installed or any aftermarket intake. Have any users experienced CELS? Do you guys think I will hear the intake over the exhaust and is there any power gains noticed or mainly sound? Just curious if it's worth the investment thanks guys!

P.S I just installed jb+ and looking for some more power.

You're already probably close to the whp fuel limit. MPPK is at 355 + jb+ (30whp depending on boost setting) + intake (5-10 at most) = 390-395whp. To go much faster we're going to need the DME to be cracked.

I had the sound and power kit installed with a bms intake by the local bmw dealer. I think I was the first in Denver to get the MPPSK. Love this combo since day one and have never had any issues whatsoever.
You won't really hear it with sport or sport + especially if you are driving hard. But in comfort mode it's very noticeable especially if you try shifting yourself you will hear the spool in 2nd-4th gear.

Did you have them both installed at the same time?

MPPSK first and then BMS intake a week later when they repaired my front windshield.

Honestly no not really it's hard to tell but for $150 I think it's worth the sound it makes. I do remember though it took about a week after intake instal for the sound to really be noticeable. Not sure why.

Yes absolutely, car pulls much harder especially mid range. Car is definitely faster I'm around 4.0+ over stock very tempted to max it out.

Guys I installed a CTS intake and car has MPPSK and I have a CEL. I just bought the 340xi so I am new to this

What can I do to remove the CEL and ensure the car is running optimally

Pleaseee dont tell me I have to return this intake. It sounds incredible

Plenty of high power cars going back to stock box. Bms just pulls on air from hot side of engine. Will get noise but wouldn’t expect power.
