340i Stick Left = Louder Exhaust?
Following on from a recent thread which raised but didn't answer this question. Does anyone have a definitive response?
If "sport" is set to "chassis only" will stick left engage the louder exhaust pipe and noise or do you have to go to "sport+" / reprogram "sport" to include drivetrain?

IMO (not everyone agrees with this) stick to left sounds louder because you're in a higher gear.
After warm up the flap is open anyway, regardless which mode you are in. I spent far too much time on my knees checking |

I did read somewhere having it in Sport+ with gearbox in S/manual and traction control completely off (hold TC button down for 3-5 seconds) gives a louder note compared to simply being in Sport+.
Not sure if this was only for M3/4's but I'm sure some guys on the M140i/240i forums said the same is true for theirs. Anybody tried it? |

Just unplug the valve and try it (make sure it is open when you do it)
