I'm sure it's a lot of money but honestly it's shade tree mechanic level work except mounting and balancing the tires, and that's only because of the equipment required. As long as they don't bugger up the wheels or lug nuts there isn't really much to worry about.

Cripes man, this is basic work. Your car will be totally fine.

Chill and think about the final product.

If you spec'd blue m sport brakes on yr 440i GC then rotors and calipers will be same size as yr stock items. MPBBK rotors are lighter than plain 370mm rotors. If no m sport brakes, then yr car will have come with 340mm dia plain rotors and different calipers.

No - adding oem wheel upgrades and MPBBK has no impact on alignment.

Sounds expensive just to change the color of the same brakes and to maintain the skinny stock width wheels. Am I missing something here?

Advice for you: clean those 624s on a regular basis. Twice a week if possible. 1) brake dust makes the rims look brown 2) because of the textured rims, brake dust likes to stick on and not come off easily

I'm excited that you're excited about these changes. I do agree with the majority that you have nothing to worry about since the work involved is basic, so I'm sure it'll turn out fantastic!

Would love to see before/after photos, because otherwise...

I absolutely will do before and after pics. Nothing worse than one of these types of threads with no pics. Totally agree.

Here she is midflight of her big and expensive makeover and two pics of how she looked before the makeover. (That I have in my iphone). I'm picking her up tomorrow and will post a lot of close ups once done.

20" wheels with run flats? Does it feel like you are riding on the rims? I can't imagine bumps.

Yeah me too. Hahaha. Honestly I'm shi-ting bricks about potholes. Oh well. I did it.

Now I feel like my entire car is one big fragile piece of glass.

Advice from one F36 xDrive owner to another... that car desperately needs a drop.
