Subtle noise / Can't figure it out
When I accelerate with the AC off, I hear what sounds like an increase of air through the passenger side, though no air movement through the vents. Super subtle. No CC-IDS or codes.
Had a mechanic visually inspect the front end and nothing jumped out. Replaced the air filter and no change. Did some light reading on the forum where others have mentioned replacing differential fluid. Its been suggested I may need new wheel bearing in the drivers side. Also noticed a distinct line in my rotor on the drivers side, told it wasn't anything to worry about now. Any ideas / suggestions?

Parking brake doesn't work anymore. Wondering if that might be a contributing factor.

could be a pebble wedged between you brake disc and dust plate....winter debris in the wheel, brake pads getting low,
parking brake located at the rear brakes....either a broken cable, misadjusted cable, frozen mechanicals, worn pads. JP |
