Arrow SS brake lines for M Z4?

I plan to upgrade my stock rubber brake lines to SS lines.

I am not sure if we have the same brake lines on M Z4 as

E46 M3 with competition pkg or M3 CSL. They all should

have the same brake systems ,but i am not sure about the

brake lines.

Can anyone confirm this?

get stoptech stainless steel brake lines. Top notch stuff. They have a set for the Z4M so you dont have to worry about fitment.

I have Stoptech lines on my car. They fit like a champ.

Thanks for the info!

That is exactly i need to know.

Is your brake pedal noticeably firmer after installing the SS line and racing brake fluid change?

There is, but TBH, for normal street use it's not a huge difference.
On the track, when things heat up (fluid especially) there's a definite difference.

No, it won't make your pedal feel more firm. The difference will be a more consistent pedal feel after the brakes and fluid get hot. If you don't track the car, I wouldn't recommend messing with the brakes.

Yes. Consistent pedal feel at high operating temperature is the goal i am trying to achieve. I only use my car for track days and weekend mountain sprint , since i got a new Sti as DD now

PS: I just installed my StopTech SS lines, and replaced old brake fluid with ATE Superblue this morning. My clutch and brake pedals actually felt smoother for street

driving.

Does anyone if a complete 6 line set is available for the Z4M ???

I ordered off the part #'s that Zeckhaussen listed, but only got 4-piece line kit? What's the 5th and 6th line for? Anyone have the part #'s to these?

UUC kit is 6 lines. There are two separate "soft lines" in the rear.

Hmm...are there any part #'s for these two "soft" lines for the rear? I can't find the Z4M kit on UUC's web site.

Parts 5 & 11 are the "soft" lines, although part 5 has a partial hard line and then a soft rubber line.

Call UUC for the MZ4 lines. I don't think they list it on the website because, well, there's really only limited application for it. If you want it, I can sell you mine (although one of the rear lines has a small scuff on it and a little bit of the outer layer was worn away from the scuff).

I ordered through JSW, using these part #'s from Zeckhaussen:
F- 950.34001

R- 950.34523

But those #'s only came with 4 total lines. I need the #'s for the extra 2 lines for the rear setup?

Hack, what do you mean by parts 5 and 11? I'm totally confused...
I was wondering about StopTech part #'s?

Stoptech replaces the 2 soft plus the intermediate hard with one longer line.
It eliminates all the extra fittings

Yes.
The OLD Stoptechs used to only replace the one soft line at the caliper.
The NEW Stoptechs replace all three with one long line.
The new rear line should measure ~26"
