Was at Vista Coconut Creek in North Ft. Lauderdale. They have a new M2 for over $90k. It has 15K in Dinan upgrades and and AMV of over $15k.

Some not-so-smart-but-very-rich person will buy it. If these are that rare that they are still adding an AMV of $15k to it then I'll happily sell mine for sticker price to them. It only has 5K miles.

I don't get it. From my experience BMW is building enough M2s to meet demand. It's not a rare or limited car. All I did was go to my dealer say "I want an M2" I put a deposit down and had an allocation within a couple weeks. My car just hit the port Friday and has some port added options (m performance package), and I expect deliver by the end of the month. I paid msrp which I think is very fair given I special ordered it. I live in an affluent area and this is a high volume dealership. This is my second m car.
What's the deal??
