Opinions on Carbon rear diffuser and other mods

Hi,
Mineral gray, MT coming to performance center May 11!
I've already bought
BMS clutch stop
Black surround grills
Performance pedals
Performance mats.

I am on the fence regarding
Black front side markers instead of chrome
Carbon rear diffuser
Changing front side lights to mineral gray. 195 plus shipping from IND seems ridiculously expensive.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
The M2 will be joining my White GT4.

MG here with Black Grilles, MP Carbon rear spoiler and M4 Comp pack dark exhaust tips.

I don't feel fully blacked out side gills make sense, they're already 90% black, the chrome accent actually works there. Nowhere else, though.

I have black kidneys on my MG, and am still deciding what I want to do with the rest. Right now I'm leaning toward getting rid of all the chrome, but that might have something to do with the fact that I currently have my winter wheels on, which are satin black. The lack of any bright spots on the wheels really makes the remaining chrome stand out.

I'm most likely to change:
M4 Comp exhaust tips
Black side gills (trying to decide whether I want the backing to be painted MG from IND vs. the black plastic)
Painted side reflectors - the orange doesn't offend me like it does some people, but I do think it'll look better without
Black M2 badge

I'm more on the fence about the MP diffuser but only because of the price. I think it looks amazing, but really have trouble justifying the cost for a purely aesthetic change. Plus if I did that I'd probably do the carbon mirror covers too, just to balance out the carbon. I'm pretty anal retentive and feel like having only one piece of carbon bling on the exterior is a little weird. I don't care for the extra height of the carbon spoiler so won't be doing that.

I'm of the opinion that other than the front grilles, the existing chrome works pretty well with MG. I just think right now I'd prefer the dark look.

BTW, I also have the clutch stop and MP pedals and floor mats. The pedals were a must-have IMO to match the dead pedal, but I figured I'd just use the mats in winter. Now I'm starting to really like them and might just go with them year round.

Have a blast at the Performance Center! I did the same thing in November, and even though I had to wait an extra month to get my car vs. getting it at the dealer, that experience was totally worth it.

Regarding the side markers, if going the IND route I am a big fan of the ones that have the body colored section instead of the stock chrome (still have the black backing section). You can also do it so that the back section is body colored but that just looks weird to me.

Congrats on the PCD date in May!!! I will actually be there early in the week on May 8th to pick up my M2, I can't wait.

Are the comp package tips a direct fit for the regular exhaust? Or MPE only?

I think the diffuser looks great on an MG car, personally. Including mine

Direct fit for the standard exhaust.

Black front side markers instead of chrome: Ideally better in black but then again 200$ for two bits of plastic is a bit expensive. Especially considering the chrome markers go well together anyways with the bits of chrome on the rims

Carbon rear diffuser: If you're not getting carbon tips or spoiler it will look misplaced

Changing front side lights to mineral grey: Expensive but worth it. Those orange reflectors are hideous.

Are those tips a simple purchase? Anybody with the best dealer? For the side gills, I saw a mod using 235 markers for a huge savings

Any thoughts on Plastic Dipping? No one seems to do a lot of that on here with the M2 but its widely popular. Plenty of videos of peeps dipping Bimmer grills and badges on You Tube. I have not seen any M2 dipping yet. I am either going to have my spoiler wrapped in a carbon black or I am going to dip it. I don't have the car yet. It will be MG. I'm going to experiment with Dipping on a Ford Focus before I unleash it on the M2.
