Strange noise while deceleration around 1500-2500 rpms

So i am not sure if it has something to do with the most recent mods. But lately i notice this kinda electronic sound under the car when slowing down at around 1500-2500 rpms.

It doesnt matter if i break or just slow down by letting off the gas.

Only thing i can think of is when i installed my muffler delete there is apparently some flappy valve function on the stock exhaust...

It isnt super loud, i can only hear it when its quiet and no radio. but it is quite odd.

I think I know what you mean... I think it's normal... there a multi-floor garage I used to to and every time you brake before the ramp and let off the gas you would hear like a flap closing down... specially if you open the window

I have noticed the exact same thing ever since having my Dinan goodies installed. It's a high pitched electronic beep sound, and I notice it when decelerating to around 5 MPH. It sounds more electronic than mechanical to me, and it seems like it's coming from under the hood, so my hunch is it's the Dinantronics chip itself. I never noticed anything like it before the mods.

That is exactly what i think i am hearing.. like a electric noise, the GF thinks it sounds like when something is being unplugged and winding down.

Ben I am not going to lie, I have never heard this before with my car. But you have peaked my interest in finding out more though. Any chance you could grab a video of it?

I am definitely going to have to remember to listen for this. This is the first time I ever heard of this. Definitely interested to see if mine does the same.

I captured the sound with my dashcam. It's pretty low, so you may have to crank up the volume, but you can hear it at the 4 second mark.

Is this what you guys are hearing too?

Got a video done.. is this what you guys hear?

You will hear the first click at second 6 and another click at second 17 or 18.

Sounds very similar, though mine sounds slightly more electronic. I'll get a video up later

I couldn't hear anything in the first video but the second video I can hear a "click" sound. I can't think of what that could be.

I tried replicating it on my car this weekend and still couldn't get it. I will try it again to see if myself or a passenger can hear anything.

okay I think i got this sound figured!!! i realised it yesterday when i was standing next to the car while it was warming up. when the car warms up you hear that click which is basically the can flap opening up in the second exhaust...its the EXACT same sound!!

Now in my underground parking, the floor surface is not always leveled , its pretty much bumpy. the sound only happens when I'm driving over the jerky/bumpy parts of the ...therefore my guess is the can flap is some what loose or rattling....not sure if this is considered normal???

I'm thinking the people who didn't hear it are pretty much the ones always driving on smooth flat surfaces. it cant be anything else...as i can hear it without even stepping on the gas pedal (not neccessarly revving) and like i mentioned... i only hear hear when the floor surface is not flat.

I still haven't been able to replicate the sound. I need to try like late at night or something because I think there is too much extra noise from other things forbidding me from hearing it.

That very well may be what you are hearing, but I don't think this is the same sound me and Benandluna are hearing. He has muffler delete, and I have a Dinan exhaust. There is clearly an electronic beep sound that occurs right after a very slight click, but the two are almost instantaneous. Referring back to the video I posted, I have to crank my laptop volume up to max, but it can be heard at the 4 second mark. It's a high-pitched click-beep.
