Hitting 60K soon

I'm on the verge of hitting the 60K mark, any maintenance I should consider doing other than the standard brakes, engine oil, etc. that are in the iDrive?

I've seen people mention differential fluid and ATF, not sure what intervals those should be changed out.

ATF is a 100K item, but it's worth it IMO to change it at 60K miles. Diffs and transfer case (you don't say if you have an xDrive) probably at the same time.

I'd definitely do the Diff if you havent already prior to 60k and I would do the ATF if yer gonna keep it.. ZF recommends ~60k on the change even if BMW says its lifetime.

Would a drain and fill work for the ATF or do I need to do a flush with pan and filter?

You have to remove the pan to dump the oil (no drain plug IIRC), so replace the filter.

I see no reason not to flush; why leave 2-3 quarts of old stuff?

Are we talking miles or kilometers? ZF recs are for 100,000km (~62,000 miles).

I'll be doing this shortly as I'm at 64k miles. Will do transfer case and diffs at the same time.

Also, there's a ZF kit with oil/pan/bolts - basically everything you need, for less than 300 on FCPEuro right now.

60,000 miles
I plan on actually doing every 30,000 since I am not doing a full flush
