Pp-performance tune.

Had anyone heard/seen this tune? They're claiming 550nm ~ 405lbs of torque. I wonder would it stack with JB4?

Stacking tunes that are not meant to go together (standalone tunes) is not recommended.

They are claiming 55hp increase...that's less than a JB4 on current firmware. I bet it retains the fuel cap.

Does increase top speed though doesn't really matter I already have a JB4 and if you can't stack it I'm not interested.

When people talk about "stacking" tunes to a JB4 it's usually a backend flash that opens up the parameter limitations so you can program a more aggressive MAP with the JB4 than you would be able to otherwise.

Rarely if ever would you want or be able to successfully "stack" a full blown tune and a JB4 unless you're running some obscure Turbo/fueling setup that didn't have a tune programmed for it that would optimize it.

I think some people are thinking they can just stack this on top of that and have a big ol free HP party. A properly done flash tune would put you at or close to the safety limit on the turbos efficiency range as well as being close to the fueling limitations of the cars setup (with a safety headroom left on the table).

So it's usually either:

BackEnd Flash + JB4
Or
Full performance Flash

Usually with a back end flash and JB4 its the JB4 controlling boost and the flush taking care of peripheral things like fueling etc.. So its not really a stack but a combination (working together)

unless they are willing to send you a map specifically made for the JB4, i would not stack tunes
