Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2

Hi,

Currently got the bridgestones on my car but time for some new tyres.

Anybody running Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2? Any opinions?

Thanks

You won't get better RFT's than the GY, but if you're interested in non-RFT then you'd be hard pushed to beat Dunlop Sportmaxx RT2. Great performance and after 30k miles on the rears I still have 4.5mm left.

I went from Bridgestones to Asymmetric 2 and they are much better. I don't hold my breath over pot holes so much and they are slightly quieter too.

Recommended as far as run flats go.

Another thumbs up for the asymmetric 2,although they've been replaced with the 3 which I'm gradually moving on to.

I swapped to the GY on my F30 but didn't think they made much difference. Maybe I don't have a sensitive arse....

Seen a few comments on here saying the BS seem to have improved lately.

Bloody hell, my MPSS were down to 2mm by 20k! Do you do a lot of motorway driving?

Got GY Eagles and they seem great so far. Also seem to be wearing better than the Bridgestones on my previous 3er.

Yes, mostly motorway driving. However, I was doing mostly motorway miles on the GY and I changed them at 3mm on 21k miles.

I think the GY are brilliant, but the Dunlops RT2 are as good and much better wear rate.

I've just got GY Ass 2 fitted to the fronts after getting a puncture this evening. I suppose 8 miles is too early to say if they are any better than the bridgestones.

If they are ok then when the rears need to be changed, they will be going on then too.

My car came from the factory with the Eagle F1 run flats. They're ok, but not great. Going to get some new rims in the spring and try the new Pilot sport 4s which also happen to be cheaper than the Eagle F1's.

Suprised myself how well they've lasted and how evenly they've worn too. Im not the hardest of drivers on my tyres, I've never been one for ripping the arse out of them but thats not to say i dont enjoy a bit of spirited driving now and again.
