Extended Warranty...Help!!!!
Hey, does anyone know if the BMW extended maintenance (6 yrs/100,000 miles) covers the powertrain as well as the scheduled maintenance? My dealer says that it covers everything including the engine and transmission but I have my doubts.... If anyone knows more about this I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks.

I have the extended contracts and such and I have the info somewhere around my room.
But the Extended maintenance contract cost me $995 and the extended service contract cost me $2449. Let me find it and i'll scan any info you may need. Edit: I found the extended service contract book. It's like 13 pages long, so if you want to see exactly what it says email me and I can scan it in and email it to you. I think that some are confusing 'extended maintenance' with 'extended warranty'. Maintenance contracts provide maintenence services as specified by the manufacturer/marketer. Warranty contracts cover repair and/or replacement of stated parts. There is no simple one size fits all answer. One is well advised to read the contract prior to signing.
