Trying to self diagnose this thing..

2011 328i with xDrive.

Started about a week ago, when every damn mechanic is closed for holidays. So here goes.

No codes.
Slightly erratic idle. 800-500rpm.
Drives fine, until I accelerate somewhat fast or go uphill and starts to misfire.

I'm thinking dirty fuel filter? Or something of the sort. It drives fine if I don't go uphill or try to pass a car. Which kinda leads me away from plugs/coils.

Any help would be awesome! Cheers!

ps. Going to mechanic tomorrow, but would be awesome if I had an idea of what I was going into by you experienced guys.
