Got one! After lots of waiting I have an order in and a production number and, I was told, a week 7 build. Alpine white, manual, no executive package and black kidney grills. That's it! What a day it's been! Won't sleep much tonight.

Congrats man! I'm still waiting for this day to come to me soon. I'm #2 as of October and should be #1 now I hope. I'm gonna try to get a hold of the inventory manager tomorrow to get some updates. BTW how long did you have to wait for?

Answer for SVRM2: My dealership salesperson told me when I sat down with him to order the car on BMW's build-site. Just ask your salesperson for the information; they can find it on their computer.

For build information call 1 (800)831-1117. They can help quite a bit. Call frequently changes all the time

I thought waiting to get an allocation and putting the order in took forever. Now, I am in a new type of hell waiting for progress on the build and shipment. I have at least three months to go before delivery. A very high-quality problem to have, right? I can also wonder what tires will come on it.

Found out that mine is a Week 10 (March 5 - March 10) as of now - subject to change. Sounds like I'm heading for a May delivery.
