Question Canadian Financing rates variations during the year?

Hello guys/gals!
Fairly new here. Been lurking for the last couple of weeks.
Looking at getting a 240 convertible for next spring/summer.

From your experience - do financing rates (not lease) usually go up or down at the start of the calendar year?

Not sure if I should get a deal done before the end of the year, or wait for January/February.
I'm in the Toronto area. If that makes a difference, from this perspective. Although I don't think BMW has too many local "deals".
Thx for your input.

Thanks. I was concerned rates automatically go up beginning of January, but that may be a moot point anyway. It looks like I will pull the trigger on it before the end of December anyway.
Got the financial part all sorted out regardless of what VW is doing in courts, so I'm ready
I do own two "diesel scandal cars" - but it doesn't look like we'll get anything near what they get in the US for settlement/buyback. If we ever do get anything it will be a "bonus", I guess. If you can call it that when your car is almost worthless...
Hope the 240 gets here by early April, just in time for "convertible weather".
