Just Had My M2 Coded!

Hey guys,

I just had my car coded today in Wycoff NJ by CodeMyCar.com
Not only was it a fast and easy experience, the owner Okee was super nice and double checked/showed me that everything worked at the end. You can tell he loves cars and knows his stuff. He was so passionate about his work he damn near forgot to charge me. You get as many of these code modifications as you want for one price, and if they are ever overwritten by BMW if you get some sort of update, or if any new codes come out, you can go back and get them redone/updated for free.

I'm very happy with my experience at codemycar.com and i would reccomend them to any and everyone with a BMW.

Glad to hear the experience was good. I'll likely get mine coded sometime after the new year. Do they just typically find someone close to you? Wyckoff is nearby so I'd likely use the same person. If you don't mind, please PM me the pricing.

I'd be interested in how to find a coder in your local area?

assuming you're in Arizona i would check the regional south west forums
(doesn't matter if it's not an M2 specific forum. i'm pretty sure most coders can code any E or F type bmw)

if nothing shows up poking around there i would do an old fashioned google search

and as a last resort i would just take a trip into southern California. they have TONS of bmw tuner shops that could do coding in san diego and LA such as tag motorsports, and LTmotorwerks

It depends on the shop and individual. Personally, I only do F-/I-/G-series. E-series is a completely different cable and software.

In person is nice if you have the option, but it can easily be done remotely as well.

I'm not sure i haven't tested it out. probably won't ever use it to be honest. don't want to leave this world watching harry potter like that tesla driver.

If i can remember to find a dvd laying around this week i will go ahead and try it out for you though.

Nobody should ever go out that way

It's a nice option to have for passengers in the car. Was just curious as I am reading that there is a way around the limitation but not sure how involved the procedure is.

Thanks for the response
