HELP! Need to program Airbag Module MRS5 and cant find it

Hey guys,

I have spent a ton of time today trying to code this module. Problem is the car is a 06 build e92 335 so my programs wont code it. I was going to use NCSExpert but cant translate what module that is. Can someone help me!

I tried INPA but cant find anywhere to change the coding for the new module. My DIS wont connect because of the build date even when I put the adapter on and slow the rate down.

Even if you know what the module is called in german or where it would be located would help a ton.

Thanks,
Patrick

MRS5 is the ABG module in NCS-Expert.

Use INPA and pull the uif and identity screenshots. They contain module names with ZUSB numbers as well.

The INPA UIF and identification information does not always align with the nomenclature used in NCS-Expert...i.e. MRS == ABG

So use the part number in Winkfp and it will display the module name for ya. Just select Zusb number for updating and it will pull up the project numbers and ecu type for you.
