EDC coding issue
Try to help a fd to code out his EDC after he install coilover suspension. I found and follow the instruction, at first it looks success (ex: EDC no longer show in idrive) but once he drive the car, the EDC warning light will back on.
1) Unplug EDC module 2) Remove $233 from VO (both from CAS and NFRM) 3) in KOMBI, set EDCK_ALIVE_ZAEHLER and EDCK_ID_MONITOR to "nicht_aktiv" 4) in CAPPL, set EDC to "nicht_aktiv" (later CIC cars set EDC_CIC to "night_aktiv") 5) Clear faults using INPA What else can I do? Is the EDC sensor has to be attached? (now is not) Is coding with engine running has something to do with it? Car is 2010 E92 M3 Thanks for all valuable advise.

What you've described isn't the correct way. It is not enough to just remove the VO code $233. Once removed you must recode every module that utilises EDC to default using expert mode.
