Installation at PCD
I am picking up at PCD 12/8 and while I know they do not install ANYTHING at PCD, I'm curious if the car is paid for, if they allow the local BMW dealership to do any installs in the time between when the car arrives and my pick up date. I have heard the car generally sits for 1-2 weeks at PCD just to give them the buffer in case it does arrive late, and I would really like to have the windows tints, the CF spoiler installed, front painted reflectors all installed before I arrive. Mostly because I will be taking a tour with it to show friends and family on my way back that most likely will not see the car again or atleast for a long time. Curious if anyone has asked or looked into this?
The biggest downside is not getting to see the single digits on the odometer when driving away for the first time. Just an impatient buyer here... haha |

I was told that all options needed to be setup at build time so the port install would happen before it arrived at PCD. You should have a contact number and person providing you all the PCD details, reach out to them and see what they say about it!

OP, as mentioned by El Ban above, and I couldn't have said it any better:
"they wouldn't let anyone touch the car BEFORE I took delivery of the car from them" This is purely a liability thing. You have to take possession first before any work (Xpel, dealer accessories, etc.) can be done to the car. |

Thanks for the reply guys. I haven't received my confirmation just yet. I think within the next week. Looks like It's going to be tight timelines all the way around haha.
I don't want to rush the experience, but curious what time you guys were driving off with the care the day of your delivery? |

They shoot to end around 3:00pm like David1 says. My PCD was my M2 and two more (X4M and X6M) so we went thru all exercises pretty quickly and although they extended some runs we wrapped up at 2:30pm.
