US MY17 with the HK here. Does it have HD Radio?

There is one local FM station I listen to from time to time and today is the first time I've listened to it. On my 328i there is a setting to turn HD Radio on and off. When on it displays album art and gives access to the sub-channels. I don't see that on the M2.

Well, according to the BMW USA website it includes HD. I know it's true for most cars but the manual for this thing sucks.

Yes.

Media, FM, Options (iDrive button), HD Radio reception.

Would have expected it to have been checked by default considering analog FM is shutting down.

Thanks, it did not occur to me to try the physical option button. In my other Bimmers it's an on screen button.

By the way, HD was not selected by default.

Yeah, a lot of stuff is hidden under the option button

I hate to dig up a super-old thread, but I have no clue where you got the idea that analog FM is "shutting down."

Almost all modern FM stations are now dual-broadcasting a digital and analog feed... but I believe turning off analog FM entirely actually require an act of congress to accomplish.

Other countries might be dumping analog FM, but it's going to be around in the US for quite a while I suspect...
