Took Delivery Yesterday - '17 M2 MG 6MT EXE PKG

Picked my M2 up yesterday evening. Nice looking car. Mineral grey was a good call. Love the smooth power of the motor and the short throws of the transmission. The brakes are impressive too. Love the sounds the car makes, especially driving with the windows open under an overpass. It's quite lovely.
I have not owned a BMW in about 4 years. iDrive is so much better than it used to be. The navigation is almost as good as Google maps and much easier to use when driving.
I'm comparing my M2 to my '09 997S. One will stay. One will go. Wish I could keep them both. Right now my 997 is ahead just because it's so classic in both looks and performance. I haven't spent enough time with my M2 to make a decision. New tech is nice. Not sitting so low is also nice.
If my M2 goes, someone will be able to buy it fairly soon - probably before Thanksgiving - with only a few hundred miles on it.
More pics soon.

Why would you buy a car without knowing if you want to keep it? Unless you are planning to try and flip it to make a profit or break even.

Early 997.2 C2S is a nice car but a little dated. I'd probably opt for the M2 since it has a warranty, free maintenance, more updated interior etc. The Porsche is a better sports car in my opinion and the M2 is a better daily.

My build choice as well. Good luck with the flip, you'll probably try to unload right when info about the lci with the new motor comes out. You will need to hope the price goes up enough

Garage List
2018 Audi TTRS  [8.00]
2017 Porsche C4S  [9.50]
2011 BMW 1M Coupe  [10.00]
2007 Audi RS4  [5.50]
2004 VW R32  [6.50]
2021 M2 Competition  [9.50]
I just sold a 2014 C4S, beautiful car, probably one of the best sports cars available. Thing is for me I just did not drive it that much or anywhere near its potential. I also agree it's pretty low and even with the 18 way seats I was uncomfortable after driving for more than a half hour. Previously I had a 1M and was never uncomfortable during a long ride, I'm thinking due to the more upright seating position. Anyway I have a deposit on a 2018 M2 or CS. Also thinking about a TT-RS although that one is also pretty low.
