Carly - Voltage monitoring setting?
I have LED foglights and reverse light, so I would like to code out the error code and also stop it from flicking, currently have resistor thats why I dont have code coming on, but the reverse led sometimes have error code.
Should I ACTIVE or NOT Active in order for code out the error? And Also should I enable both of the 1/2 and 2/2? Fog lights voltage monit. 1/2 • active • not active Voltage monitoring for fog lights. Might cause flickering of LED lights. (codable in FRM) Fog lights voltage monit. 2/2 • active • not active Deactivate with ‘Fog lights voltage monit. 1/2’ to disable flickering of LED lights. (codable in FRM) Reversing lights voltage monit. 1/2 • active • not active Voltage monitoring for reversing lights. Might cause flickering of LED lights. (codable in FRM) Reversing lights voltage monit. 2/2 • active • not active Deactivate with ‘Reversing lights voltage monit. 1/2’ to disable flickering of LED lights. (codable in FRM) Last edited by Blueeyesredpanda; 10-24-2016 at 09:08 PM.. |

You want to "not active" voltage monitoring... to code out the error caused by your replacement lights.
You should do that and then clear any error codes. Normally the car monitors the voltage of the lights to determine if the light is working properly. Last edited by opjose; 10-25-2016 at 11:32 AM.. |

You didn't answer his question though... And I have the same one.
Do you just set the 1/2 to Inactive, just the 2/2, or both? Seems odd to just set the 1/2, because it clearly indicates it might cause flickering of lights... |

All Carly entries that appear as 1/2 etc. indicate that more than one option must be used for th choice to work. |

Also for some coding functions, Carly will let you know that you must also code some other related module to get things to work.
This is easy to miss or forget as you are working through all of the options given you. |
