Two 2017 6-MT M2's available at Encinitas BMW (California)
I was just informed by my local BMW dealer that they've got two 2017 6-speed M2's available.
One is BSM w/Executive Package and a bunch of M Performance goodies. The other is LBB w/Exec, Apple Car Play. So far, they've been charging over MSRP on their M2's, from what I can surmise. Not sure if they'll be asking for that on these. Last edited by Das Kommander; 10-24-2016 at 09:36 AM.. Reason: Clarification on pricing-related info. |

if theyre the one in Thousand Oaks, saw them on CarGurus. I ain't going to pack a penny over MSRP. Guys like this make all decent dealers look like garbage. There's PLENTY of profit at MSRP for everyone.

BMW of Encinitas tried to sell me an M235i for 1000$ over MSRP 2 years ago. Back then his justification was that regular m4s were going as much as 15K over MSRP.

Gatte, if you're looking right now, Peter Pan BMW in the bay area has a gray one. I got them down to $1500 over MSRP. Timing isn't right though so I passed. They have a white and black one too but DCT and lots of MP parts.
If you call they will say 10 over. I went in said everyone is doing 5. He said ok 5. I walked away, 2 days later called and said $1500 over. It was hard to turn down. |

They are selling them for $5k over the MSRP shown on the website. "We might be able to get it down to $3k over. But that requires general manager approval." So I suppose that's better than 6 months ago when they smoked me with $10k over... many are not spoken for but all are frozen - can't change the specs.

If you want a M2, I have an MSRP order in LA that's arriving 11/5. LBB DCT with MPE. Due to some financial issues I can't really take it right now. I paid a finder's fee ($2000) in order to buy the car. I am not trying to make money off it, just asking my finder's fee back. Well I am not even sure if it's a finder's fee... Maybe someone just sold me his allocation.... I took it because I thought 2k over is better than 10k over...
