Carly Coding for Auto folding mirror Retrofit

I am planning to get a set of auto folding mirror, so in order for the mirror to fold I will need to code it.
Is it possible to code the mirror through Carly?

I don't think Carly can modify the VO, which is needed for this retro.

Yup Carly cannot code VO's..

However I have folding mirrors and I don't see anything in my VO that specifies them.

"S313A Fold-in outside mirror" is the only VO code I see in BMW's option list and I don't have that.

I enabled the ability to fold them in Carly.

No that is not what I was trying to convey.

Carly is not capable of VO coding your vehicle.

However it does not seem that you need to VO code your vehicle to enable the folding mirrors.

It appears that all you need to do is enable this function in the CAS module. Carly does have coding options for this.

However you must also have the driver side door panel switch that you can normally hold down in order to fold the mirror. That same switch slides from one side to the other to enable or disable the automatic mirror angle adjustment when backing up.

Do you have $430A ($430) in your VO code list?

If you don't know you can post the last seven digits of your VIN so it can be looked up.

I DO have $430 and a friend that enabled the folding mirrors on his car also has $430, so this may be required.

BMW defines this as

"430 Int/ext Rr Vw Mirror W Aut Anti-dazzle"

I've been using a $20.00 Ebay Seller cable to code my car using the VM posted here under Windows 10 x64.

The process to do this is not difficult should you need it, there are just a few things to watch out for.

Sorry to have to tell you that you do not have $430 in your VO from the factory.

This means it will have to be coded and the corresponding modules reset.

With a laptop, cable and VM image (available here) it can be done fairly easily.
