Strange issue with my front windows

So I've had this car 2 months now and this issue is starting to get really annoying. I have one touch up and down windows. The rear windows do one touch up and one touch down with no issues. However, my front windows(both driver and passenger side) only do one touch down. They will not roll all the way up with one touch, but they will roll all he way down with one touch.

I've tested the Anti-trap function by putting a pen between the glass and frame, rolled the window up, it hit the pen, stopped, and rolled about 2/3rds of the way down. I don't know what else to do.

I've tried doing the window reset I see floating around the internet, but all that does is make the windows stop working for awhile. Like after I roll the windows up and down a few times and hold the buttons between, the windows will roll up, but will not roll down and I let the car set about 10 minutes and then they work again.

I'm at a complete loss as to what to do now, and want to avoid taking it into a shop if at all possible. Any ideas?

Sounds like An FRM module issue. Mine did that before finally giving up completely after trying to reset the module. I think BMW has a recall on the modules.
Personally, I would live with it until it gets worse, or you could try to have your dealer recall it.

When I fried mine the car was not able to be driven. I had no brake lights, turn signals, or door locks.

I suppose it could be an issue like that. I'll see what my dealership thinks.
Thanks!

Have you tried denormalizing the windows with Ediabas and then relearn the endstops?

Negative because I don't have EDIABAS. I was considering getting it for various maintenance issues but have no clue where to start, what cable to get and where to get the software. Do you know if the Rosstech tool on ECS tuning would work? I was thinking of getting that, but EDIABAS may be better. I have no idea.

Do you mean the footwell module? Isn't that covered by BMW anyways since they know it's faulty?

my mechanic told me the module, cant specifically tell you which one(was over 2 yrs ago), BMW would not warranty it cause according to them i had European configuration that was not in accordance to BMWUSA (my friend from MGT had put in some Euro mods on my car which included the window configuration, that's why BMW would not give me warranty, LOL)

Interesting. I guess I can live with it for now. Maybe if BMW will cover it I'll go for it. Thanks!
