Coding

Hey all,

I posted on the coding section but don't know if that gets a lot of traction over there...just wondering if there is anyone in the Austin area that can do some coding for my 16 340?

Many coding services offer remote coding using your laptop and wifi...if you have these available.

Just get a Windows laptop; a Special odb2 to cat5 cable ; some software; Watch a YouTube video or two; and be done with it

Okee dokee. If you like to learn, as was pointed out above, you can also do DIY.

I'd like to but don't have a windows laptop and rather have someone do it for the first time. But I'll try in the future.

It's really easy. I did it myself the first and only time I coded the car - just $20-25 for the cable. Lots of guides and youtube videos walkthrough you through the whole process. Just don't click that "Restore to default" button and you'll be fine.
