So Long F22...

Trading in the F22 for an F10 later this week...

Loved the F22, but wanted something more tilted to luxury for everyday and for business.

Tried to like the F8x M3 but couldn't - and I love m3's having owned both e46 and e92. M2 is awesome, but not what I am looking for in an everyday driver.

Came close to a C43, but the drive was still too Mercedes for me. 4 series value wasn't what the F'10 is today.

Smoking hot deals on F10's right now. I've owned E39 and E60's and have always had an affinity for the 5'er as an everyday driver.

My ideal garage is a 5'er with maybe a nice little Z3 or pre-owned Boxster. So that will be my search later, down the road.

Will have couple nice mods for sale soon:
6 piece OEM Mperformance Carbon Fiber/Alcantara trim kit. Note, not the standard 5 piece kit, but an added 6th piece (the cf alcantara trim around the shifter which is critical for finishing the look imo)

OEM Sport floor mats (2) and trunk cover (black rubber with red piping)

Everyone enjoy your 2'ers. Happy and safe driving!

How much are you asking for the alcantara interior trim kit?

F'10 vs F22 is apples vs oranges. They serve entirely different needs. F22 does an awesome job fulfilling its mission.

Glad you like it, I do too

535i with Xdrive...Pretty much loaded with Hud, Cold, Premium, Drivers Assistance Plus, Multicontour seats, Nappa leather...

Its a luxury cruiser, different mission than F22 no doubt.

Agree completely...different segments, different purposes. But, when we needed something in this segment, we found the Audi A6 3.0T (supercharged Quattro powertrain) won the decision, so our different "Germans" share a garage. Waiting to see the BMW CLAR platform, which has been so well received on the 7 Series (technical/performance, not necessarily sales), and how that lightweighting platform strategy benefits the new 5 and 3. Given what we've since learned about all of the VWAG corporation, we'll be even more encouraged to revisit BMW next time we need our one large family car.

Yes, sounds plush. Nothing wrong with that sounds like a sweet ride. Good luck with it.
