Exclamation RE: Houston - accident, bodyshop reccomendation

Hi all,

I've been a long time lurker, and recent addition to the forums. Unfortunately, it seems my first post comes on a rather "sad" note....

Earlier this week, on my way to work, I was involved in a four car accident. While stopped at a red light, an inattentive driver slammed into the car behind me, which subsequently proceeded to hit me. My rear bumper and cargo trunk lid took show the visible external damage.

Does anyone have a great recommendation and personal experience with local Houston/Spring/Sugarland bodyshops? Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Sidenote: Prior to the accident, it was my intent to replace the "luxury line" F&R bumpers on my '12 F30 335 to the M Sport / "aerodynamic" package. After a little online research, there seemed to be quite a few individuals who recommended an aftermarket kit such as that offered by Selma or Mbargains. Unfortunate as the accident was, it seems as though this might be the time to start on that swap—at least for the rear.

Would anyone caution me against doing so? Granted that insurance is paying, I know that if continuing with an original OEM lux line rear bumper, I could very easily just go to the local BMW collision center and dismiss any worries from my mind. But....since I'm considering an aftermarket MSport kit, I'm debating whether I need to be cautious of a third party shop (as great as many of them are) possibly missing something in their tear-down and assessment of present vehicular damage.
