well, im going to class today and im taking my time. theres a lot of traffic on my route (i take saticoy westbound to get to school) so it wasnt like i was speeding or anything. im approaching corbin, just after tampa, and im in the right-most lane (4 lane road). as im approaching the corbin/saticoy intersection there are 1-2 cars in front of me, and on the left lane next to me, its completely full, bumper to bumper except for where this residential street is.
(these paragraphs are not organized, theyre simply to keep the text somewhat managable)

the residential street about 200 feet before the intersection with people from oncoming traffic making a left into it. "keep clear" isnt written on the pavement and i wouldnt be blocking those making a left anyway so im about to proceed through. then as im maybe < 30 feet from the residental intersection this HUGE truck (possibly a late model suburban) tries to make the left. i slam on my breaks but i was way too close. she didnt even edge forward to make her left as most people do, she was COMPLETELY still until i was a few car lengths from her.

it isnt like i didnt see her there, i saw her but she was not moving at ALL until i got close, there was nothing i could do. i clip her rear panel, put my hazard on, and shut off my engine. at this point im (sorry for the language) pissed the fuck off, beyond all motherfucking belief. i get out of my car and start screaming every profanity that i can think off at the top of my lungs. i see her truck semi-pulled over so i run to it and i start banging on the passenger side door. i point to the curb and mouth "PULL OVER BITCH" and she nods. so i go back to my car to see if i can get it out of the fucking road and i cant. so i get out of my car again to see that THE FUCKING BITCH LEFT, VANISHED, DISAPPEARED. now im SUPER FUCKING GODDAMN SHITBALLS PISSED OFF. i call the police and file a report with a description of her truck. what makes me even more mad is that i didnt get a chance to get her plate because i saw her pull over so i figured id get it in a few seconds. the car has suffered significant damage and i think its going to be claimed as totaled. looks like i need a new car. sorry for the rant, i just back from the hospital and im pissed off. please excuse the poor grammar and sentence structure blah blah. here are some shitty phone pictures

Dam sorry to hear that. I cant believe she just took off. Hopefully with the information you gave the cops, they can track her down. Did you suffer any injuries? (since you said you went to hospital)

Look on the bright side, I guess its time for you to get a E92

there was one nice guy who approached me and said that he didnt witness the accident but he saw her flee. he said that if he sees her truck he'll get her plate, i gave him my number so hopefully ill get a call. there were a lot of nice people who went out of their way and pulled over to see if i was alright it made me feel a little better

insurance will cover it but idk, thats so much engine & frame work. especially since my car is an older model i can only assume that its harder to find parts for it. honestly the entire ordeal, from the impact to the moment i looked up and realized she was gone probably went down in 2-3 minutes. all i can remember is that it was a large late model green truck, possibly a suburban

If you are so set on another E36.. I'll sell you my car... granted, its only a 323is but it's a 1998 with 95k miles on it.
