Impressive indeed.

Not sure how he gets so much traction off the line; my M135i with JB4/DP/E30 is having major traction issues at the strip (even with boost limits set in 1st and 2nd). Didn't try getting heat into my PSS' first which I'll try next time (and I'm sure part of it is technique).

I'd imagine it has a lot to do with the AT. Those gears are just so damn short 1-3rd. Probably doesn't make full boost until 2nd gear, then before it can even hook up in 2nd, it goes into 3rd and bites hard. You can see it breaking traction a bit, but in a very "composed" fashion. Great job on BMW and the ZF8AT, I think it's a great option for those who like to bang on the paddles and do some drag racing. It's almost as good as a dual clutch, without the long term fears of owning a dual clutch equipped vehicle.
