Specs for my Dad's X6

Deciding on which options are necessary and which are not is easy with BMW. Below are the specs for my Dad's September delivery X6.

Oh, and a healthy dose of tint (Gotta hide those C pillars) and clear bra will be added before delivery.

I think it will be HOT.

I was told by my dealer that you can't order the IPOD adaptor without the Premium Sound package. You can,however, get a dealer installed one as an option.

I think your dealer wants to sell you the premium sound package.

Can you tell me the price of the Nappa Leather Dashboard option? Also, did the dealer warn of any delayed delivery for your car because you selected that option?? What is the delivery date they suggested??

There is no price on the leather dash option yet. I really, really hope it's available by order time. I had to look up the option code on www.bmw.co.uk. My Dad's Cayenne Turbo and Mom's 997 Coupe both have full leather, and it's sorta turned into a must-have option.

No dealers I've spoken with have a clue about the option or if it will be available at all. There are actually three options we want with delayed availability: saddle brown (No surprise for E70 X5 fans), automatic rear door, and leather dashboard.


I'm actually still shopping dealers around Texas. The end of September is our preferred delivery time. This coincides with the termination of his Cayenne lease (Which was a very fun car, btw!).

Hi Matt, Have you inquired at Garlyn Shelton? I've gotten nothing less than superior service with Art Saldano in Bryan/College Station. I'm not quite ready to get serious yet, but he has told me I can get whatever info or price quotes or test drives for my wife's future X6,, to just let him know, since I got my M Coupe from him in February.
