Speed limit Removal

Have anyone removed the original BMW speed limit by coding?

Doubt this is held with a variable that you can modify.

Best thing to do is get a tune that overrides it anyways

Has anyone tried adding

840 High Speed Synchronisation

To the VO then recoding the entire car?

Recently I removed;

8S4 Decoding Variable Light Distribution

from my VO and wrote the FA/VO back out.

Afterwards I found that AHL2_ENABLE had been activated automatically in the trace files after doing so.

Would the same apply to "high speed sync"?

---

Edit:

I couldn't understand why AHL2_ENABLE was not working as others have displayed in videos, so I went back and recoded the NFRM module and found it had not been set to active in the module itself, but reading the entire car's trace had shown it as active.

After updating NFRM it started working properly... oh well.
