Removing caked on water spots and bird etching

Just wanted to give a tip on removing caked on water spot from rain or hard water.

I recently experimented with using Menzerna SF4500 with Grey Polishing Pad with my trusty Griot's Garage DA Gen 3 with positive results.

Bird dropping etching is a bit tricky, for the ones you managed to clean right away, the combo above will work, but for the ones you missed and etched for a long period of time, on Orange Cutting Pad with Menzerna FG400 light passes should fix the issue.

Get 91% rubbing alc.

water it down a tad and use that as your lube when you clay. This will get everything off the surface or "in the surface"

Than buff lightly will medium compound.

Or you can buy the specialty sprays like above or Iron/tar X. that will remove it.

But most of this shit leaves behind residue, so you want to buff/polish it afterwards to a good clean shine.

Really use alcohol as lube? It will evaporate in seconds, no?

Could you elaborate on this a bit please?
