Where to wash

I feel silly for even needing to ask a question like this, but here goes. I've recently moved to a new city and moved into an apartment without access to a hose. I've been lucky in that I've previously rented houses or apartments with ready access to wash my car. I'm in foreign territory now, with all of my wash supplies, but no hose. Where do normal city dwellers wash their cars other than an auto wash or paying to have it detailed over and over?

Look into no rinse washes. I use Optimum No Rinse, referred to by my detailer and Opti-Coat applicator.

Only need a bucket of water (2-3 gallons more than suffice), a bunch of microfiber towels, and maybe a soft wash mitt.

This. ONR is an awesome product. I started using it when we were renting and had no access to an outdoor hose.

Many complexes (at least where I live) have designated water washing locations. All of which aren't suppose to be used anymore because of drought restrictions, but you know....

If you don't let your car get real dirty, you can use waterless car wash. This is what I have. I mainly use in the Winter up here on my other car when I don't have an outdoor water source.

I can speak to ONR, it is an excellent product. It gets super hot where I live making it tough to wash the car during peak heat periods so I use it in the garage at night. Works great, use clean quality microfiber and you don't have to worry about swirls. Heck my wife even washed her car a week ago, first time in 20 years of marriage. She was shocked at how easy and effective it was.
