Is this a good mod for those who don't go to the track very much? I hit the track maybe once a year and have yet to do it in my 1 month old 340i.

If you use your car to drive a bit spirited once in a while you will notice the car being more vivid. If you drive your car like an old man who never makes use of the power it can deliver there is absolutely no reason to get it.

In Denmark we have a lot of speed restrictions but we also have a lot of roundabouts and just for the fun of accelerating out of a roundabout it is worth it . I have actually started loving rain because it makes roundabouts so much more fun with limited tire wear

What do you mean with ramp angles of the LSD? The ramp angles for the car remain the same as the housing of the LSD is the same as the open diff.

So the M Performance LSD is a 1.5 way variant since it states "30% lockup on acceleration, 9% on deceleration".

Usually for a clutch based LSD to produce different lockups on acceleration and deceleration, the ramp angles have to be different.
