Depends on the build date of both cars...BMW changed the TPMS system in April of 2014 in F30 cars here in the US, and the sensors have different part numbers. Not sure in the UK, but if you know both cars' build dates, you can check realoem dot com to determine if they both have the same sensor part number.
Aside from that, you may have fitment problems with the 3-series wheels on a 2-series - the offset may not be correct for the 2. Best to check on that first.
