Helping out a friend. If you know any dealers with M2 allocation available please PM me. Prefer MSRP or below but we can work something out.
Thank you! |

I think he is saying "good luck with that" They are pretty much sold out unless you get lucky somehow.

If your friend is serious about an M2 either get in line asap or be ready to pony up $10,000 or more above MSRP to get one now. |

I just rec'd a call from a dealership I visited a long time ago for an August build that a customer backed out on.My build is for October but at my dealership! Anyhow they tried to bs me into a $1150 admin fee and $5500 freight and PDE.He even tried to say freight is way more for M cars. Guys are backing out but you're going to pay a $4-6k premium! Plus tax on that. Below MSRP?!!! Not in a million years. |

With that said, does anyone ever go into a dealership or make a post and right off the batt state they are willing to pay over MSRP? Hence, I stated what anyone would prefer but also will work something ouf IF there is an allocation. I don't care what any dealer says about M2's being sold out well into 2018. If there is demand BMW will make more. And if rumors are true they will increase production. The purpose of this thread is for anyone with allocation to reach out to me. I don't need you guys to rehash things that I already know. |

Your chances of finding someone on here that knows of an open allocation are very small. |

BMW F22 is your friend willing to buy an M2 at MSRP with all the additional M performance parts? Total is 68K.

You are right, if the demand is there they will probably continue to make the M2 but we are a long way from supply meeting demand. |

The only shot your friend has is to find a dealer that does not have a list. There are a few who don't and have decided to essentially choose who will get their cars. Most of those dealers if not all are only selling cars to local customers because they want the repeat business instead of selling a car to someone on the other side of the country who they will never see again. That is how I got my allocation, they had an HEA car that was marked up, I went and took a look and got a followup email from the manager and responded that I wouldn't pay over MSRP and that I wanted to buy local but it didn't appear that would happen. He responded i could have their next allocation for MSRP and bam I got the order, a production number about 10 days later and the car will be here in October.

On another note: I called a guy I know at a local dealership after posting this thread and his dealership happens to have one in stock (lbb, manual which is what my friend wants). They are asking $5k over. I'm checking with him to see if there's wiggle room. |

Btw, for you guys that bought out of state, was the transportation included in your purchase price or did you pay extra? I ask because that's something to factor in for the overall cost. |

I'm not sure why anyone would give BMW F22 a hard time on this. There have been a number on this forum that have decided not to go ahead with their M2 order and offered their spot to another forum member.
Sounds like you're a good friend and good luck on your search! |

If you're willing to put some time in check the 2-series map and contact some dealers in areas without a large concentration of 235s.

If you look around you may be able to find a dealer with a relatively short list. I got on a list at #4 a few weeks ago. 2 of the 3 in front of me already have allocations so I'm looking at getting an allocation in the first batch of 2017. Call around and see what you can find.
