Many years ago I had a maroon Ford Mondeo. I parked under a tree and left it there for a day.
Came back, the car was well and truly splattered. I had parked under a cherry tree with ripened fruit.
Thought no more about it, as I was too busy getting out & about.
A few days later went into a car wash and the poo had taken the top layer of paint off down to the undercoat, a light pink!
The car was in a right state and of course painted with 'lead free' paint, and being a base colour, no lacquer to protect.
It was for sure, a lesson learnt! Forever since, I avoid parking under trees!

Unfortunately I park under trees on my driveway at home. Here's how my car often looks after only a few days...

Where I used to live in London, bird mess was the least of your problems. Some of the lime trees had squirrel dreys in them. Within a few days cars beneath would all become beige!

The shite-hawks (seagulls) on this part of the North-East coast seem to be especially incontinent at this time of year.

So my car stays in the garage unless I'm actually using it, safest way.

What you have a garage that actually fits a car in it?

You lucky bastard!
