I was cruising up the A1 link road today towards Wetherby to finalise the details for my wedding
Me, r lass, her mum and my little boy
Was in the outside lane doing around 80ish when a silver car came flying up behind me, looked like a Lexus/Toyota thing!
Put my foot down a little and got the LOOK! from the Mrs so I pulled into the middle lane and this thing flew past us
It was a Infiniti Q50 red sport had a look on google and apparently 3.0 twin turbo 400bhp
Will probably drive like a pile of shite round the bends like most Lexus but it was like a bullet on the motorway over 90mph

I didn't know that was available in the UK, assumed we'd only have the watered down versions.

I've seen infinitis around before and thought they looked / sounded nice, but they're just not a very compelling package when you price one up and see what you can get for the same money.

EDIT: Infiniti is to Nissan as Lexus is to Toyota, right?

It looked horrible and bet it drives horrible i suppose anything can look quick in a straight line

there was a review of it against the 340i on YouTube, I don't think there was a lot in it performance wise and I seem to recall them saying the as a package the 340i was better. I'll try and dig out the vid, I am curious about the infiniti's though, will have to go for a test drive in one soon

I had a go in a QX80 whilst I was in the states a few weeks ago, it was pig ugly but lovely inside with a 5.6 V8 and 400hp I really liked it.

I was in Florida a couple of weeks ago and saw loads of these.

Just hideous. Absolutely hideous. I can only assume they are cheap or they can buy them on cheap lease deal because they are quite possibly one of the ugliest cars ever.

lots of them in the middle east, used to see them when I worked there.. nicely fnished inside if I recall, fast in a straight line some of them but no doubt crap handling.

I think the G37 coupe is quite nice, like a 4 series rival, well kitted out but depreciates like a stone I think..
